Roy Rogers Sings at David Eisenhower's Birthday Party

In this photograph, taken by Abbie Rowe of the National Parks Service on March 31, 1956, Roy Rogers sings to David Eisenhower and his guests at David's eighth birthday party in the Broadcast Room of the White House. David Eisenhower, the only grandson of President Eisenhower, is the namesake of presidential retreat Camp David. The Broadcast Room was a short-lived addition from the 1948-1952 Truman renovation located on the Ground Floor of the Executive Mansion.
